I don’t know whether or not to call these images abstracts, graphics, or simply things I really really like. I spend most of my time photographing people or landscapes, nature – however, I love love love to photograph images that bring delight to my eye and joy to my brain. This is where I play. This is where I celebrate line, texture, movement and pattern. A wise person once said, that in order to see you must, “forget the name of the object you are looking at”. Probably Berger, a tidbit I remember from way back in grad school days that makes sense to me now decades later. Maybe you too enjoy this type of expression? Don’t ask me, “what is it?”… I won’t tell you or I will, but what it really “is” is a moment in time when something wonderful and unexpected caught my eye and I briefly looked at the world with fresh eyes.
