In rural Uganda a women’s work starts before sunrise and ends after dark. I am always amazed at their resilience in spite of daunting circumstances. Try following this lady through her day - then explain our need to “join a gym”. Here’s a conversation for you:
“Is everyone in America as fat as you?!”
“Well.... actually, there are even people fatter than I am”.
Insert laughter.
Try explaining how we have soooo much to eat that we then PAY money - to go somewhere to move heavy objects and fake climb hills in order to get thinner. Same planet. Different worlds. Benefit of travel - fresh eyes and new insights.
