July 18 – 22, 2012. Oregon Coast with David Middleton. We will be based out of the coastal town of Newport, Oregon. Tide pools, light houses, puffins, the harbor, and the Newport Aquarium are just a few of the subjects for this workshop. We will have lovely long summer evenings in the harbor. October 17 – 21, 2012. Maine Coast and Acadia National Park.
Offered thru Santa Fe Workshops and taught with David Middleton. We will be based in Bar Harbor, Maine – right at the door step of Acadia National park – one of the most photogenic of all the national parks. We can catch a sunrise on Mount Cadillac, wander miles of carriage paths strewn with fall leaves and still have time to explore the dramatic Maine coastline. We will also take you to visit some of the working harbors nearby, including a few of our favorite secret spots and favorite lobstermen that were featured in our book, “The Lobstering Life“. However, the highlight of this workshop may be breakfast at Jordan’s diner, a can’t miss experience!
